Brooks Lee blasted a grand slam in a six-run third inning and Byron Buxton added a solo homer Sunday afternoon to help Minnesota beat the Detroit Tigers 8-1 and snap the host Twins' three-game losing streak.
Ahead of the series finale against the Minnesota Twins, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch decided to leave Torres out of the lineup after going 0-for-5 with two strikeouts on Saturday. Utility man Zack McKinstry made the move to second base and will bat seventh as the Tigers look for the sweep and a fifth straight win.
