Actually, he’s not even that, because the notion of his return to coaching, first floated by one of his former players, ESPN commentator Greg McElroy, has been a topic of open discussion.
One of the unofficial starts to the season is taking place in Atlanta, as SEC Media Days is already halfway over. Some of the country’s top players are in the conference, including quarterbacks. Everyone seems to have differing opinions on who the conference’s top guys are.
On his podcast "Always College Football," ESPN's Greg McElroy mentioned that some believe Oklahoma State can return to contention in the conference; however, he does not share that optimism.
