KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee left opening weekend with a 3-0 record following a doubleheader sweep of Nicholls to close out the first series of the Josh Elander era. The Vols defeated the Colonels 5-1 and 12-2 to complete the sweep. Blaine Brown hit three home runs over Sunday’s doubleheader.
