Several premier players have yet to begin practicing due to contract disputes, but none are more important right now than Micah Parsons.

Micah Parsons went viral for requesting a trade as the Green Bay Packers are one of the few teams going all-in to acquire him.

Via Jon Machota of TheAthletic.com, reporters sought comment from Parsons after practice on Wednesday. Said Parsons: “ My mouth is closed .” He has not rescinded or revised his trade request. Presumably, it still stands.

On Wednesday, after the second-to-last practice session in California, Parsons remained shut when reporters asked questions to him. Meanwhile, Jones had a lot to say, one of which confirms that he expects Parsons to play in Week 1. When the reporter asked the owner if there is any deadline to sign him to an extension, Jones said:
