Colorado Avalanche superstar Nathan MacKinnon has passed team legend Peter Stastny in the record books against the Vancouver Canucks.

Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon earned the NHL's First Star of the Week presented by GEICO. MacKinnon recorded 10 points (4 goals and 6 assists) in three games including back-to-back 4+ point games to end the week. He currently leads the league in goals and assists.

“It’s unreal,” Colorado defenceman Cale Makar said in a post-game media session Sunday. “He’s finding ways to put the puck in the back of the net, going to the right areas and driving the play, too. It’s definitely amazing to play with that guy every night.”
