Texas Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien was not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays after a hit-by-pitch forced him to take a rare day off. Semien will undergo X-rays Saturday afternoon after Toronto right-hander Chris Bassitt hit him on the right wrist with a sinker in the second inning of Friday’s 6-5 loss.

Texas Rangers Starting Pitcher Jacob deGrom has turned back the clock in 2025. He will need to be just as good this evening when he faces the best team in the American League, the Toronto Blue Jays.
