Data from the New York Times shows ICE arrests have doubled in Tennessee since President Donald Trump took office. Here's a closer look at the study.

P resident Donald Trump campaigned for president on the promise of mass deportations that targeted criminals -- and while ICE agents have arrested over 38,000 migrants with criminal convictions, new data shows a recent shift toward also arresting those who have not been accused of crimes.

Michigan and 19 other states filed a lawsuit arguing the Trump administration broke the law by giving ICE access to confidential health information.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta led 20 states in a lawsuit on Tuesday alleging the Trump administration unlawfully shared public health insurance information with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

"Disclosing individuals’ private health data for the purpose of immigration enforcement puts lives at risk," Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea J. Campbell said.
