After no one matched all six numbers, the Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $81 million for the September 17 drawing. This follows a recent $1.787 billion jackpot split between Missouri and Texas tickets on September 6.

The third-place winning ticket was sold at the Walmart Supercenter at 6788 State Route 31 in Newark. The ticket was sold for the Saturday, Sept. 13 Powerball drawing. That day's jackpot was at $55 million, however no one won the jackpot prize, according to lottery officials.
