Cowboys activate CB Trevon Diggs

Securing the division title was the lone path to the playoffs, as they were already eliminated from wild-card contention in Week 15. It was always an unlikely scenario as the Cowboys needed to win their last three while the Eagles needed to lose three.
The last time Trevon Diggs saw action for the Dallas Cowboys was in Week 6 in a 30-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The All-Pro cornerback has since missed eight straight games due to a knee injury as well as a concussion sustained from a home incident.
A second-round draft pick by Dallas in 2020, Diggs was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2021 when he led the NFL with 11 interceptions. He earned Pro Bowl recognition again in 2022 before injuries affected his next three seasons.
Another important event happening at this point is the fantasy football playoffs. Fantasy managers are scrambing in order to find the best lineups possible to win their leagues. Could a potential sleeper option be on the Chargers roster? ESPN believes a sneaky good performance could be brewing from one of the Bolts' best players.
The Cowboys may not have anything to play for by the time they kick off their home finale vs. Los Angeles on Sunday
The LA Chargers and Dallas Cowboys battle at AT&T Stadium Sunday. Kickoff from Arlington, Texas, is set for 1 p.m. ET.
Who do the experts believe will be victorious when the Dallas Cowboys host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16?
The Cowboys are officially eliminated from playoff contention, but a lot is still left to be determined about the future.
