Austin Police said one adult was found dead after officers responded to a report of a body found in Lady Bird Lake Saturday after a water rescue call overnight.

Heavy rain ended Austin’s 46-day dry streak, leaving two people dead in Lady Bird Lake and Shoal Creek. One person remains missing, and another was rescued from rising floodwaters.

Following severe weather in the Austin, Texas, area Friday night into Saturday, multiple bodies were pulled from the water.

Police are looking into whether a body found in Lady Bird Lake is linked to an earlier rescue and overnight storms.
