NASA supercomputer shortens Earth’s life prediction
NASA’s supercomputer has issued a dire warning that Earth could soon become lifeless, sparking global concern about the future of humanity on our planet. In a related development, scientists have pinpointed the exact date when life on Earth will end,
3I/ATLAS is a comet which was detected by the boffins over at NASA on 1 July, with researchers at the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) identifying the mysterious terrestrial rock. The comet - which is roughly the size of New York - will become the third interstellar space object to enter our solar system in recorded history.
NASA has confirmed the existence of a new second moon which will orbit Earth for quite some time. If you’ve gotten used to only having the one moon, it’s time to adapt, because now that we’ve got two, you’re going to have to get used to people asking ‘which one’ when we talk about the bigger of the two.
Something called a "quasi-moon" was discovered in August, and now many are wondering if we should count our new neighbor as a second moon.
Scientists have confirmed the discovery of a new quasi-moon, 2025 PN7, a small asteroid that will shadow Earth’s orbit for more than a century before being pulled away by the sun’s gravity, according to a September study from the American Astronomical Society.

NASA's DART: Redirecting An Asteroid To Protect Earth
The first flight mission for planetary defense, NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) seeks to validate a method to protect Earth from the threat of an asteroid impact. By smashing a spacecraft into the smaller member of the binary asteroid system Didymos,
A small companion has been following Earth's exact path around the sun, with astronomers calling the object a quasi-moon
The Sun has taken on a spooky appearance, resembling a jack-o'-lantern. This cosmic grin is linked to intense solar activity. Scientists predict this
Will interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS hit Earth? Explore the predictions, from NASA's official 'no impact' trajectory to fascinating theories from Avi Loeb and mystics.
