Cooper Flagg appears to be figuring things out three games into his NBA career. The Dallas Mavericks rookie put together his best outing so far in a 139-129 win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. He dropped 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting, adding four rebounds, four assists and a block.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder will face Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks on the road at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Lauri Markkanen scored a career-high 51 points, the first Jazz player to reach 50 in the regular season since 1998, and Utah beat the Phoenix Suns 138-134 in overtime on Monday. Markkanen made all 17 of his free throws.

Ace Bailey scored two points in limtied action in his NBA debut for the Utah Jazz. Bailey did make the highlight reel with his first NBA bucket, though, as he slammed in a dunk in the first half. Bailey did contribute in other areas, though, as he hauled in four rebounds and dished out two assists.

Cooper Flagg is starting to settle in during his first season with the Mavericks, and D'angelo Russell is putting the NBA on notice.
