The home-invasion robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, 2021, in the 2600 block of Monticello Avenue. Police said Tillotson, 52, was fatally shot when he confronted the suspects. The suspects also shot Tillotson’s wife, Amina, but she survived.

OAKLAND — Police here have identified a 29-year-old woman who was shot and killed on Sept. 22. Carla Lee was fatally shot around 6:10 p.m. on the 1400 block of 87th Avenue in Oakland, police said. She died before emergency responders could take her to a hospital.

Sources confirmed to KTVU on Sunday evening that Martin died in a hospital after he became unresponsive following his arrest by OPD officers.
