An offline mode for The Crew 2 was announced last year in the wake of the the shutdown of the original game in March 2024.

Ubisoft finally redeemed itself by adding offline support for The Crew 2. However, that didn't end up well for the company.

"Hybrid Mode," as it's properly known, lets players choose between online and offline play, or just automatically loads the game into offline mode when no connection is available.

The offline mode for The Crew 2 was first confirmed last year, following the shutdown of the original The Crew in March 2024.
