The Supreme Court will hear arguments on Thursday in a case that could have major effects on the power of federal judges to hobble President Trump’s agenda.

The argument here is that the president is violating an established — not just one, but by my count, four established Supreme Court precedents.

Many legal experts say the president does not have the power to end birthright citizenship because it is guaranteed by the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution.
