A Tornado Watch has been issued. Here's who's affected and what it means

The story published by Morning Overview on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, talks about the devastation in Parma, Ohio, caused by a tornado that "turned an ordinary winter day into a scene of splintered homes, mangled cars, and darkened streets."

Illinois had more tornadoes than any other state in the U.S. last year. As the climate warms, Illinois has seen a surge in tornado activity in the last few years.
