A man has died at Milan Bergamo airport, forcing all flights to be suspended - the incident unfolded on the taxiway, which connects the runway with the rest of the airport

ROME (AP) — The airport in the northern Italian city of Bergamo briefly suspended flights Tuesday due to a runway incident that local media said was apparently caused by someone running onto the tarmac and getting sucked into an airport engine.

ANSA news agency reported the victim was sucked into the engine of a departing plane while being chased by airport police.
