Florida softball pleased the capacity crowd at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium with a dominant win over Oklahoma on Saturday, the program's first series win over a No. 1 team.

Florida softball delivered a valiant effort, but fell just short Thursday night in a series-opening loss to Oklahoma. The performance, though, gives UF hope.

Oklahoma was unable to dig out of an early hole in Saturday’s regular season finale. The No. 1-ranked Sooners fell behind 3-0 to No. 9 Florida in the third inning, which proved to be a large enough lead for the Gators.
