New York Giants offensive tackle Evan Neal is headed toward free agency after the 2025 NFL season. Giants general manager Joe Schoen said during his post-draft press conference on Saturday the team had declined its option for a fifth season on Neal’s contract.

Earlier this week, Schoen said they would be exercising the fifth-year option of the team's other 2022 first round pick, linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux.

The Giants won't be picking up the fifth-year option of General Manager Joe Schoen's first draft pick. After this year's draft came to a close, Schoen announced at a press conference that the team will be declining its 2026 option on offensive lineman Evan Neal's contract.
