A 15-year-old boy was found shot to death in Mayfair on Thursday night after he was pushed out of a car that fled the scene, police said.

An investigation is underway after Philadelphia police shot and killed a man who reportedly opened fire on officers.

Police found the boy unresponsive in the rear driveway of the the 6300 block of Revere Street, police said. A 15-year-old boy died after he was shot several times and then dumped from a car in an alley Thursday evening in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.
