LANSING, MI -- A player in Missouri and a player in Texas have won the second largest lottery prize in U.S. history. The players each matched all five white balls and the Powerball in the Powerball drawing held on Sept. 6, to win the $1.78 billion jackpot.

The winning numbers for the $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot on Sept. 3, 2025, have been drawn after 40 consecutive rollovers without a jackpot winner.
