Powerball players in Missouri and Texas hold two winning tickets for the nearly $1.8 billion jackpot on Sunday, ending the lottery game's three-month drought without a big winner.

The winner of a seven-figure prize from the Kansas Lottery came forward this week, claiming a $2 million prize.

A Darlington convenience store has garnered attention for selling winning lottery tickets, including a $212,000 Palmetto Cash 5 winner in August and a $500,000 scratch-off winner in July. Lottery officials said the lucky destination for both lottery players was the Refuel store at 1680 S.

The estimated Powerball jackpot for Saturday night's drawing soared to an estimated $1.8 billion, the second-biggest ever, after no one won Wednesday's $1.4 billion drawing.
