ジェトロは米国の環境エネルギー政策動向をまとめた 2025年2月分の月例レポート (425KB) を公表した。同レポートは、日本企業が米国の環境・エネルギー政策に関する動向を把握できるよう、毎月作成して特集ページに連載している。

米国のドナルド・トランプ大統領の就任後1カ月以上が経過し、3月初旬には施政方針演説が行われた（ 2025年3月6日記事参照 ）。2月の各種経済概況では、経済活動の鈍化を示す兆候がみられた（ 2025年3月4日記事 、 3月6日記事参照 ）。最近の世論調査では、国民が経済状況の好転よりも悪化を実感しているという結果だった。
