There is some serious jamming going on in the palace. King Charles has shared his playlist of favourite artists from across the Commonwealth for an Apple Music radio show in aid of Commonwealth Day on Monday.

LONDON (Reuters) - From works by Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley and Australian popstar Kylie Minogue to singer Raye, King Charles has revealed in a new broadcast some of the music which has brought him joy over the years and formed the soundtrack to his life.

The US superstar’s biggest hit Crazy In Love was played during the King’s Music Room programme, alongside Diana Ross’s Upside Down, with Charles confessing it was “absolutely impossible” not to dance to the former Motown singer’s track when he was a younger man.

Apple Music have announced forthcoming radio show, The King’s Music Room, which is a celebration of music from across the Commonwealth chosen by King Charles III.

The King's pick includes a number of music legends as well as newer artists such as multiple Brit-winner Raye.

Apple Music Radio is where culture is happening worldwide,” said Rachel Newman, Apple Music’s global head of content and editorial, “and we are honoured that King Charles III chose to share his personal playlist with us.
