Sir Keir Starmer said there is a “huge amount of common ground” between him and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after they met at Downing Street. The UK Prime Minister welcomed Ms Meloni for a bilateral meeting on Sunday before the summit of political leaders in London focused on Ukraine and wider European security.
