HBO's "Hard Knocks" had a hard time finding any knocks from NFL teams interested in being filmed for the 2025 preseason. The show is pivoting to following Bill Belichick in his first season coaching NCAA football as the UNC Tarheels head coach.

This decision comes after NFL Films couldn't find any NFL teams to sign up for the show after the New York Giants' controversy last year.

While Belichick was appointed as the head coach of North Carolina, Paul Finebaum revealed on "The Paul Finebaum Show" that he doesn't believe the Tar Heels were his first choice. "I had heard the Belichick to Florida deal," Finebaum said. "I think Florida was his first choice."
