Brewers team principal owner Mark Attanasio said there are plans in the works for ways to honor Bob Uecker, including a big celebration in summer.

Major League' was the first acting role ever for Skip Griparis, who played the soft-spoken sidekick to Bob Uecker's memorable Harry Doyle character.

Legendary Milwaukee Brewers radio announcer Bob Uecker died Thursday morning at the age of 90. He had been battling small cell lung cancer since early 2023, according to a statement from his family.

Fans began to line the bottom of Uecker's statue outside the ballpark with cans of Miller Lite in a nod to the legendary announcer.

The 1989 baseball comedy filmed in Milwaukee featured Uecker's memorable performance as cynical, and very funny, play-by-play announcer Harry Doyle.

Bob Uecker was the voice of his hometown Milwaukee Brewers who after a short playing career earned the moniker "Mr. Baseball" and honors from the Hall of Fame.
