Dan ‘The Hangman’ Hooker has gone under the knife for the injury that forced him out of his UFC 313 co-main event fight against Justin Gaethje.
‘Ataman’ has been actively pursing a return to the Octagon having not fought since suffering an injury in his main event clash with Mateusz Gamrot in September of 2023. His fight before that was a majority decision loss to Gaethje at UFC 286 in London with both men unsurprisingly pocketing a fight of the night bonus.
Despite Dan Hooker suffering a broken hand, Justin Gaethje fully intends on fighting at UFC 313 next month in Las Vegas.
Two top UFC lightweights have offered to step in and fight Justin Gaethje in place of Dan Hooker at UFC 313 next month.
