Family members of the late Tony Todd are upset the screen star wasn't part of the popular “in memoriam” tribute at the 97th Academy Awards. Fans of the Final Destination and Candyman star quickly noticed his absence from this year's Oscars’ "In Memoriam" segment,

Fans are not pleased with David Lynch's short Oscars tribute and the omission of Michelle Trachtenberg, Tony Todd, Olivia Hussey and several other actors and filmmakers from the In Memoriam section at Sunday's 97th Academy Awards.

But the ceremony also frustrated many fans and industry figures, especially those who noticed unfortunate omissions in the In Memoriam segment. One of these was the late horror movie icon Tony Todd, who was nowhere to be found during the broadcast tribute.

The Academy Awards didn't use a few extra seconds to honor actors who left a huge dent in Hollywood, and fans are not having it.

The Oscars In Memoriam segment celebrated entertainment figures who died in the past year, though Michelle Trachtenberg was omitted.

Eagle-eyed viewers on social media immediately noticed a few big names not mentioned on the broadcast, including Michelle Trachtenberg, Olivia Hussey and Tony Todd. While all three are honored on the Oscar's dedicated "In Memoriam" page online, they were not shown in the montage during the show on ABC. Their fans were, understandably, not happy.
