A Sun Country Airlines flight from the Twin Cities to Mexico was diverted to El Paso due to "a security concern," the airline said Wednesday night.

FBI officials say there was "no threat" in an incident that prompted a plane flying out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to be diverted Wednesday afternoon to El Paso International Airport in Texas.

A Sun Country Airlines flight from the Twin Cities to Mazatlán, Mexico, was diverted to El Paso, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon “out of an abundance of caution in response to a security concern.”
