FREDERICKSBURG, Texas — Powerball players who bought tickets in Missouri and Texas will split Saturday's estimated $1.8 billion jackpot, overcoming astronomical odds to end the lottery game’s three-month drought without a big winner. The winning numbers were 11-23-44-61-62 and Powerball 17.
Three second-tier Powerball winning tickets were also sold in Texas. A winning ticket worth $2 million was sold in Tyler, and two tickets worth $1 million each were purchased in Austin and Midlothian. After paying 37% in taxes, those winners should take home $1,260,000 and $630,000, respectively.
