President Donald Trump says his administration has already had “very serious” discussions with Russia about its war in Ukraine and that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin could soon take “significant” action toward ending the grinding conflict.

I would say they are pragmatic and trusting relations. I can’t help but agree with him that if his victory had not been stolen in 2022, then maybe there would not have been the crisis in Ukraine that arose in 2022.

While Vladimir Putin is still waiting for a phone call from US President Donald Trump, a shifting political balance in Europe may be strengthening his hand in forthcoming diplomacy to try to end Russia’s war in Ukraine.
