Adrien Brody took home his second leading man Oscar for “The Brutalist,” Mikey Madison took home the best lead actress statuette and “Anora” was crowned best movie on its way to five awards Sunday.

Academy Awards was a night of anticipated twists and turns that never manifested. Void of nearly any surprises (except that Best Actress category, more on that in a moment), the Oscars were handed out to largely expected winners,

"Anora" captured five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress in a star-studded ceremony hosted by Conan O’Brien in Los Angeles on Sunday.
