Nate Dreiling is now headed to Oklahoma after short stint with Arkansas State
Nate Dreiling is on the move again. The former interim head coach of the Utah State Aggies — as recently as Dec. 5 — is moving on from Arkansas State less than a month after accepting the defensive coordinator position at the Sun Belt school.
Arkansas State defensive coordinator Nate Dreiling heading to Oklahoma
Dreiling served as Utah State interim head coach and defensive coordinator in the 2024 season. Before that, Dreiling guided New Mexico State to a top 5 red zone defense and top 50 rushing defense in 2023. The Aggies were 29th in the nation in points allowed per game in 2022.
Head coach Brent Venables officially announced the hires of Nate Dreiling and Wes Goodwin to the defensive staff on Saturday.
