Bloomingdale's said Tuesday it plans to close its San Francisco store later this year. The department store chain said its location at San Francisco Centre shopping mall will remain open until late spring.

Bloomingdale’s has officially confirmed the closure of its downtown San Francisco store, bringing an end to nearly two decades in the city. The last remaining anchor in the troubled San Francisco Centre will remain open until late spring 2025.
