The Gators came, saw, and conquered on Tuesday night in Tuscaloosa coming away with a 99-94 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide. It was a tightly contested battle between two heated Southeastern Conference rivals that turned out to be a shootout — one of those games that makes college basketball the perfect sport to watch.

The tightly contested SEC is heading toward its conference tournament and on Wednesday, March 5, the two teams tied for second in the conference meet up as the No. 5 Florida Gators visit the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The Tennessee Vols and the Alabama Crimson Tide had arguably the best regular season game of the year this past weekend in Knoxville. Tennessee knocked off Alabama via a buzzer-beating three-pointer from guard Jahmai Mashack after the Crimson Tide led for much of the game.
