The Lexington Police Department is searching for a second suspect in a January homicide that appears to involve two shooters. Brooklyn Trigg, 21, has active warrants out for complicity to murder and tampering with physical evidence. Police said she is considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say they have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to the case where a woman was found dead in a North Sacramento apartment. The discovery was made back on Feb. 25 at the Mosaic Garden at Taylor Terrace Apartments along Taylor Street.

First responders found a 53-year-old woman on the floor of the home with visible injuries and there were signs of a struggle, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey.

Lexington police say an “armed and dangerous” suspect wanted in connection with a deadly Lexington shooting is now in police custody.
