Jourdan Lewis signed a sizable contract this offseason but the Dallas Cowboys secured an in-house replacement.

The Cowboys’ priority going into free agency was to retain defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa. Next on the list was corner Jourdan Lewis. Surprisingly, Lewis was the one who proved to be too rich for the club’s tastes.

After his departure from the Dallas Cowboys in NFL free agency, Jourdan Lewis had a brief message for the fanbase.

The Dallas Cowboys promised they would be selectively aggressive in free agency. So far they have only been selective while dozens of other NFC teams, including Dan Quinn's Commanders, push the envelope to get better.
