Only The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's "Stay" (17 weeks) and Tones And I's "Dance Monkey" (24 weeks) have spent longer at the summit.

Congratulations to Lorde, who celebrates her first-ever Official Number 1 album with Virgin this week. The New Zealand star’s fourth studio set, Virgin outperforms 2013 debut Pure Heroine (4), 2017’s Melodrama (5) and 2021 LP Solar Power (2).

Lorde’s new album Virgin has sparked a wave of frustration among fans - but not because of the music. The singer's crystal-clear CD release, promoted for its recyclable design and sleek aesthetic, is reportedly not functioning in many CD players, according to fans across social media.

This week we saw Lorde fans having trouble playing the CD version of Virgin because of its recyclable transparent design. I had some positive results playing from traditional clamshell players, but not so much with slot-style CD player mechanisms like in car stereos and game consoles.

People are going on social media to share that they can't get the translucent 'Virgin' CD that Lorde has been selling on her website to play.
