Zach Werenski scored on a breakaway 1:01 into overtime and the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Utah Hockey Club 3-2.

SALT LAKE CITY -- Zach Werenski scored 61 seconds into overtime, and the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Utah Hockey Club 3-2 at Delta Center on Friday.

Werenski scored the OT goal for a Blue Jackets 3-2 win after a 2-0 rally, while Utah faces their fourth straight loss.

Werenski dazzling effort to net an overtime goal in Utah capped the Blue Jackets' third straight OT win after trailing 2-0 in the third period.

The Blue Jackets scored two ugly goals in the span of 5:17 midway through the third period, rallying from a two-goal deficit to force overtime. Werenski then finished a two-on-none rush with Cole Sillinger only 1:01 into overtime to end a 3-2 victory before a crowd of 11,131 spectators in Delta Center.
