The Twin Towers was the professional basketball duo of Tim Duncan and David Robinson, who played for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1997 to 2003. Both players were selected first overall by the Spurs in the NBA draft; Robinson was selected in 1987 and Duncan was selected in 1997 .
