Iran–Switzerland relations are foreign relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Swiss Confederation. Switzerland has had a consulate in Tehran since 1919 which was raised to the status of embassy in 1936 and also represents the interests of the United States in Tehran.

In the absence of diplomatic or consular relations of the United States of America with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Swiss government, acting through its Embassy in Tehran, serves as the Protecting Power of the USA in Iran since 21 May 1980.

In the area of security, Switzerland is launching regional security initiatives to promote dialogue between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula states.
