The LSU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Damon Talley, presents Kevin Day’s Windborne: Concerto for Horn and Wind Ensemble. This exciting three-movement work is inspired by Day’s family connection to aeronautical engineering and the Space Shuttle program. Each movement — Aero-Schematics, Cloud Dreams, and Flying Machine — reflects the process of designing and taking flight.
