The Osage Nation’s Historic Preservation Office hosted its monthly Osage Book Club to continue discussing the “Two Versions of the Child Naming Rite” by Francis LaFlesche. Kilan Jacob’s, Tribal Research Assistant, led the discussion through page 89. The next meeting, which will finish the book, will be held on Friday October 18, 2024, noon - 1 pm, at the Osage County Health Department in Pawhuska. Lunch will be provided and RSVP is requested.
