After a very productive evening of restaurant research in Florence, I made it to my favorite place to eat in town in time for the last seating (22:15). Antica Trattoria da Tito is a 10-minute walk from the tourist center, and for the typical tourists, that’s beyond the dark side of the moon. But it’s a great example of the difference between eating at a place that needs to seduce a tourist to sit down for a meal and one that wins the loyalty of the neighborhood.
