🪨 Berea’s Forgotten Stone Men — The Workers Who Built This Town (A piece of history worth sharing ❤️) These photos stopped me in my tracks. Before Berea was a college town… before the shops, the stadiums, the neighborhoods… this place was powered by stone — and by the men in pictures just like these. In the late 1800s, Berea was known nationwide as the Grindstone Capital of America. More than 80% of the country’s grindstones came from right here. Our sandstone built streets, bridges, and buildi
