Last weekend, a new Copenhagen land mark was born. The 32-meters long and 45 tonnes heavy main span of the Folehaven bicycle and pedestrian bridge was lifted into place in one piece by two mobile cranes. In this time-lapse video, you can watch how the magic happens! The new steel bridge is uniquely designed with a Fink-truss in the main span, framed with two V-shaped pylons supported by long stays and fastened by ground-anchors down to the Bryozo Limestone.
