I time lapsed Tuesday evening's sunset looking west from Hawaii's Big Island looking out over the Pacific! Hawaiian sunsets are so beautiful! The sun went down here at 6:09pm local time last evening. The orange and red hues which follow the sun's disappearance below the horizon are always wonderful! It's interesting how quickly the transition to darkness proceeds here at a tropical latitude once the sun sinks beneath the horizon. The brevity of the period of "dusk" in Hawaii catches your attenti
