Saqqara Pyramids in Egypt are one of the most important and oldest archaeological sites. The most famous structure there is the Step Pyramid of Djoser, built in the 27th century BC during the 3rd Dynasty. It was designed by the architect Imhotep and is considered the first pyramid ever built.
